The ANV Z300 is a great pocket knife. They're made in the Czech Republic by ANV to exacting standards. The slim design is compact, and ideal for those with limited pocket and bag space. 

The Z300 is a high end modern lock knife - it's sleek design is made from the latest materials, like the Swiss Super-LumiNova inlay in the flipper to the premium Sleipner tool steel blade. Like some watches, the LumiNova inlay has a slight glow in the dark. A very cool detail. 

This version of the Z300 has a G10 handle and a Sleipner steel blade. This is an Austrian tool steel with exceptional sharpness retention. But do note: Sleipner steel is not completely stainless. So make sure you dry the knife properly after use. Though this is mitigated somewhat by the black DLC coating. The Z300 has a spearpoint blade shape. This blade shape is perfect for tasks which require a sturdy tip without losing any of the curved belly.

When opened, the blade is locked by a liner lock. You can tell that ANV has paid close attention to the details. The spine of the blade is nicely rounded to prevent unnecessary sharp edges. It also features an engraving of the words 'Acta Non Verba'.

You can carry the Z300 in your pocket with the deep-carry wire pocket clip (where legal). This is located at the end of the handle and is kept in place with the help of the stand-off. You can switch the clip for left-handed use.
