You open the KA-BAR Corser with one hand with the thumb stud. A solid backlock ensures that your fingers are safe. The handle is made from FRN. Strong and light-weight. The blade is made from AUS8A steel. Easy to sharpen and it retains its sharpness well. The shape is a tanto. This is a versatile shape that is mostly great for penetrating tasks.
