The QSP Platypus - A well thought out, designed and implemented folding lock knife running on sleek ceramic ball bearings. Easy to open with just one hand thanks to the bearings in combination with blade flipper, the knife flies into action at a moments notice. The blade, as quick to deploy as is it, has a decent weight to it and a smooth continuously curved cutting edge. It terminates with a sharp 'clipped wharncliffe' style point, useful for delicate tasks but strong enough for just about anything.
The handle is made from G10, both the main part and a smaller inlaid section of contrasting black G10. It's grooved and textured offering amazing grip in all conditions, but smooth enough that it won't tear up your pockets. Speaking of which, it sits neatly in place thanks to the Titanium clip which should never loose it's spring or shape.
The spine is also made from Titanium with a slightly different colour to the satin silver steel hardware. It's very scratch resistant, and gives the blade a polished, premium feel. All combined, it shows that QSP are serious about Quality, Service & Price - QSP!
